Guisselle Monge Arias has a degree in Tropical Biology with an emphasis on Natural Resource Management (National University, Costa Rica) and a PhD in Natural Sciences for Development with an emphasis on Natural Resource Management (UNA / ITCR / UNED / UNAM Mexico). She has been working in conservation for 25 years at the national, binational and regional levels, with knowledge of sustainability issues, experience in project design, funding management and implementation of conservation biology programs, biological corridors, leadership of inter-institutional alliances of national, binational and regional scope, and the creation of protected areas.
