Sponsor a Volunteer

SCLC invites people from around the world to coordinate and assist with all programs.  This creates an exchange of cultures and knowledge between local people and people from abroad. Volunteer helps is one of the key engines of the Center. They are the primary providers of EFL (English as a Foreign Language) instruction and help the Center with all aspects of programming and general operations.

While our Short-Term Volunteers pay a fee to offset the costs of managing the program, our Long-Term Volunteers who stay for a minimum 6 months, receive room and most meals with a local family which the SCLC covers to ensure highly qualified and dedicated volunteers.

We typically have 2 Long-Term Volunteers per year which adds up! You can support the Learning Center by sponsoring a Long-Term Volunteer!

• $225.00 will support one of our Long-Term Volunteers for 1 month
• $675.00 will support one of our Long-Term Volunteers for 3 months
• $1350.00 will support one of our Long-Term Volunteers for 6 months
